This week we will be heading down to Costa Mesa, CA for an all day conference at Rock Harbor. The conference will focus primarily on practical how-to strategies for quickly raising funds, creating a team, planning services, crafting effective evangelism projects and rapidly developing a growing membership. Our leadership team will certainly benefit.
We are also excited to report that in the months to come, we will be working with a web-media company that will help us launch our official Seven San Diego website this Summer.
Oh, and if you missed the meeting on April 12th, check out the official list of church partners thus far. We are very thankful for the growing support.

Shadow Mountain Agrees to Support Seven SD
Great News! Shadow Mountain Community Church has agreed to sponsor Seven San Diego. That means that we have immediate help, protection, legal status, insurance, non-profit status, etc. through Shadow Mountain. Shadow didn't have to do this. They are an extremely busy ministry all across the world and spend a lot of time broadcasting their own TV and radio program. However, they agreed to take a start-up plant like Seven San Diego and support it. We are sure that God will honor the Kingdom mindedness of Shadow and it's Sr. Leader David Jeremiah.

Staff Prayer Requests
Please pray that...
1) We would continue to find favor with church partners, city officials, and other influential people in San Diego.
2) God would be preparing the hearts of all the lost people in San Diego (Chula Vista) to respond to his call as we get the message out through 7SD.
3) Jobs would be available for individuals moving to San Diego from the high desert.
4) Affordable housing would be available for individuals moving from the high desert.
5) Funding for portable church equipment would become accessible.

Seven SD: The Future So Far...
It's been an exciting few weeks. Our M547 (Welcome team) training event at Dave & Busters went really well. We performed a skit, highlighted some individuals, shared the 10 Commandments of hospitality and gained some great insight from Starbucks Manager, Bill Mearig.
In addition, we are glad to report that more churches in the Victor Valley and greater San Diego area have agreed to partner with us in the year to come. We ask that you would continue to pray that God would continue to bless us with churches willing to share their facilities, people and financial resources.
By the way, we have made some slight revsions to our launch proposal. If you wish to have a hard copy of the proposal, please make sure to email roberto@highdesertchurch.com. Preview the document below:

We have also purchased a few website domains with some of the funds we have received. Look for an official website in the months to come.

Seven SD: Giving/ Tithing
If you are planning to actually move to San Diego to be a strategic part of Seven SD's ministry, then it would be appropriate for you to claim, "Seven SD is my church and I will be directing my tithe to support the startup costs required for launch," and immediately begin doing so.
However, if you are not planning on moving to San Diego, but still plan to be a part of HDC's ministry, and yet want to provide financial support for Seven SD, then it would be appropriate for you to only give such support to Seven SD as a gift that is "over-and-above" the tithe you direct to HDC.
At this time we ask that you would please make all checks payable to HDC (Seven SD should be written in the memo), or designate your giving online at highdesertchurch.com.
