Friday Night Football! We Were There!

Last Friday, our Seven SD team celebrated Olympian High's first home football game. In honor of the occasion, we threw out commemorative t-shirts that read, "I Was There!" The student body really enjoyed the freebies! We, on the other hand, really enjoyed giving back to our community. Check out some of our photos!

We've noticed you spend a lot of time online these days updating your social network about the "latest" in your life. Why not tell them about Seven SD's first preview service on October 7th. This month, we ask that you "hype" about it. Go ahead, blog, comment, update, twitter, invite, email, yeah, whatever!


Seven SD's first preview service is almost here. October 7th is rapidly approaching. On August 29th we began 40 Days of Prayer. Why 40 Days? That number, like the number 7, is biblically significant. God used 40 Days as a marker so we're going to use it as we begin to get ready for our first preview service. Will you pray with us? Last Wednesday we began to commit praying specifically for Seven SD for 7 minutes each day for 40 Days. You pick the time that works best for you and commit to pray for our leaders, our community (Otay Ranch, Chula Vista in San Diego) our relationship with the school (Olympian HS), favor in the area with people, community leaders, funding, wisdom, ministry help, people in general, our messages, atmosphere, music, and whatever else the Lord puts on your heart. We would love it if we can fill every time slot...24 hours a day prayer for 7 SD for 40 Days. If you agree to be part of 40 Days of Prayer, please email or text Mary at maryemoss@gmail.com.

40 Days of Prayer/ 100 for 100

For those of you wondering how YOU can be a part of Seven SD, here are two excellent ways! Please prayerfully consider the following:

Seven SD 100 for 100!
We are looking for 100 people to commit to participating in 100 days of ministry for Seven SD. We want you to be a part of the team. Here's what we need: We need 100 people to commit to commuting to Seven SD for the four preview services: October 7th, November 4th, December 9th, January 13th and, of course, the official launch on February 10th, 2008. Please participate in any way you can. You can help set up, take down, greet, pray, or just be there as part of the "critical mass". We need the energy and the crowd to help us LAUNCH LARGE! If you agree to be part of the 100 please email or text Mary at maryemoss@gmail.com. Simply put in the text, "Sign me up for the 100." We'll help people organize car pools each month.
